The Spanish classroom applies Comprehensible Input or CI methodology. That means we speak in the target language (Spanish) 90% of the time.

The best way to help your child succeed is by making sure they attend class every day. The time we spend together is invaluable. Consistent attendance will make the process feel effortless and in turn their language journey will be a breeze.

The World Language Classroom at MBFS

The World Language Spanish classroom at MBFS applies world readiness standards in five areas: communication, culture, connection, comparison, and community.

The goal is to prepare learners to apply the skills and understandings measured by the standards, to bring a global competence to their future careers and experiences.

My name is Señora Patricia Rivera. I am very excited to welcome you to Spanish class!

I am originally from Puerto Rico and speak three languages. I hold a master's degree in teaching foreign language education with a concentration in Spanish and English as a Second Language and a bachelor's degree in Italian and Spanish.
