It was also very beneficial how you discussed these genres in terms of Jane Eyre and gave examples of them throughout the novel. This really helped me to see how these specific genres are represented. The significant quotes you included were great, and it was very helpful how you included an overall idea that they represented such as the price of liberty or respect. The discussion you included on settings was very important as well. Jane's journey and growth of the novel is greatly impacted by the setting. This helped me recollect the overall meaning of the work. I had forgotten about the fire and ice motif so it was nice to have that reminder as well. Therefore, your exhibition of the various genres that Jane Eyre could be considered allowed me to be able to consider different interpretations.
