I like how you included all of the different genres that Jane Eyre could be categorized as. It was also very beneficial how you discussed these genres in terms of Jane Eyre and gave examples of them throughout the novel. This really helped me to see how these specific genres are represented. The significant quotes you included were great, and it was very helpful how you included an overall idea that they represented such as the price of liberty or respect. The discussion you included on settings was very important as well. Jane's journey and growth of the novel is greatly impacted by the setting. The review of the motif of fire vs. ice was also very helpful to me, as I remember that this was something found throughout the novel.

You did an awesome job explaining all of the genres that Jane Eyre could be classified as. The explanation for Bildungsroman is good and is helpful as we have had multiple essay prompts on Bildungsroman novels. I like how you connect your important quotes to big ideas in the novel. This helped me recollect the overall meaning of the work. I had forgotten about the fire and ice motif so it was nice to have that reminder as well. This was found throughout the novel and is a motif found in many works of literature.

I like the creativity you placed on your presentation, however, there are a few things you could have fixed. You did a really great job going in depth with your explanations for everything about Jane Eyre. You could have removed the plot slides and added the synopsis slides, but other than that I feel that you did a very good job.

Jane Eyre was full of so many different themes and aspects and could be interpreted in a few ways. Therefore, your exhibition of the various genres that Jane Eyre could be considered allowed me to be able to consider different interpretations. The actual Canva presentation was visually pleasing and I liked this digital source. You did a good job of connecting everything to the big ideas and you went in depth. This was helpful for those of us that keep confusing Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights! Great job!
