Fluency in regards to what? The question is what do you want the program to do (what is your goal) and then move forward from there. Fluency can mean many things within this program – to target that need, you need to identify what your outcome goal should be

The program compiles many different types of reports – the reports are only as valid as the data entered. Again, the question is what do you want to do with these reports and how can you assure that the data is entered in a timely fashion and that they are accurate based on evidence

There are two ways to upload evidence. #1 – if work is assigned to students they can upload the work themselves and it is automatically in your dropbox to score and that evidence remains with the student

#2 - Another way is to manually enter the evidence yourself. This way can be cumbersome for teachers as there is no mass upload and it would need to be scanned and/or digitally uploaded one document at a time.

That is a conversation to be had with your school administrator. The question is which scores (target scores or checklist scores).

This brings up a point to talk about evidence and assessments that lead to scoring. We are not there yet, but that is something we will be moving towards to make sure mastery is the same for all.

You can create assessments within the program and the bugs that were present earlier in the year should have been fixed.

It depends exactly what you mean by assessments – common assessments? Done digitally or there as a resource. The resource assessment has always been there. They have not be developed or evaluated yet for reliability.

It depends on how you score the playlist. If you just score activities – no, it does not transfer to the target browser. However, if you score standards scores in the standards section or overall score, the answer is yes.

You must verify scores in the standard column for scores to show up in the target browser. It does not “average” the scores for you

Agreed! This has been a royal pain and I am currently working with Empower to remedy this. It seems to be a pull from Empower that makes Math the default for all teachers. We are working on a fix that AnnMarie needs to coordinate with Empower. However, this may only positively affect content specific teachers and not elementary teachers who teach all contents. I have requested a default button as an option but that has not been created yet.

You really need to have a plan for that – do you just want major items and how are you going to manage that. To make that work you would need to assign to students and they would have to have access. It requires some uploading on your end as to what it is you exactly want them to do with the program.
