         <title>First Red Scare 1917 - 1920</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The first red scare occurred after WW1 when the Russians over threw the Romanov Dynasty led by Vladimir Lenin that sparked the communist ways. In the U.S there was a lot of labor strikes and the press blamed the immigrants coming into the U.S, saying that they were trying to destroy the American way of life. The sedation act of 1918 targeted anyone who spoke against labor unions and the government. Following that came the Palmer Raids that was a series of violent police raids of anarchists and leftist radicals, gaining he nickname The Red Summer. </p>]]></description>

         <title>Cold War Communists Concerns</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>After WW2 more communist rumors spread, such as that any leftside sympathizers was a Soviet spies trying to take down the U.S. After those rumors spread the Cold War kicked off, a series of clashed between Economical and Political clashes between the U.S and the Soviet Union. As tensions rose after WW2 president Harry S Truman decided to take action and execute order 9835, known as the Loyalty Order. Any and all federal employees were inspected to see if they were a spies or not, they were afraid that any moles inside would harm the building of a country based off of liberty and freedom of political organization. </p>]]></description>

         <title>Mail Bomb Attacks - May day</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p><br/></p><p>On may 1st 1919, a postal office discovered twenty bombs that had been shipped to prominent capitalists. For example, John D. Rockefeller, J.P Morgan Jr and even supreme court representatives like Oliver Wendell Holmes. A month later bombs exploded in eight American cities, on September 16th 1920 a bomb detonated in a unattended horse drawn carriage near Wall Street in Manhattan's capitol district. Injuring hundreds and killing thirty people. Officials believed that it was immigrants that did it. </p>]]></description>

         <title>Sacco and Vanzetti trail</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Sacco and Vanzetti were Italian immigrants, they were accused of robbing a shoe store for over 15,000$ and murder of two men, a clerk and guard. They were apprehended several weeks later in a trolley car, they bother were armed and Sacco had flyers announcing Vanzetti's speaking at a anarchist rally. They were accused of the crimes without anything being linked to them, but because of their immigration back ground and avowed anarchist they were sentenced to the electric chair. </p>]]></description>
