The convention described their grievances which included that women couldn’t vote, had no voice in creating laws, and had no property rights. They also passed a series of resolutions calling for equal rights.

In 1913, the women's suffrage parade happened where more than 5,000 women marched in Washington the day before President Woodrow Wilson’s inauguration to push for the right to vote. 

In 1920, the 19th amendment got passed.

In 1920, they added the 19th amendment which allowed for women's suffrage. The government also passed the Voting Rights Act and the 13th amendment which allowed women of color to vote and not be treated as slaves. Title IX allowed women the right to not be discriminated against on the basis of sex for educational programs.
