Also, when I watch the example videos, I get a little self-conscious. For example, I do not have a pet and do not want to own one because it takes a lot of work. When I see people with their pets, I feel I am the worst person in the world. Also, when students see the instructors' clean and expensive looking houses, I think that students who are house insecure will feel bad about their situation. It is hard to find a perfect background in my house. It would be nice to have an example with not so perfect background. A) I don't like being on camera or hearing myself, but I understand I have to get over it, if I'll teach online again. B) I work full-time as a counselor and I teach 2 classes and I take care of my 7 year old after school and all the housework and by the time I put him to sleep and shower, and want to do this class, I don't want to get all ready to be on camera!
