This section discusses the power of war time propaganda in relation to WWI. Propaganda posters had the power to vividly and effectively portray ideas using imagery. The Committee on Public Information sought to positively influence public acceptance of United States' participation in WWI. The committee also aimed to instill desire to action within its viewers. This is famously manifested in James Montgomery Flagg's Uncle Sam and his mantra, "I Want You For the U.S. Army." The United States wasn't the only country using propaganda, this section discusses the use of propaganda by France and Germany, as well.

This photo has two aspects that make it particularly unique and interesting. Firstly, the image is able to capture two aspects of the time: women's suffrage and U.S.'s engagement in WWI. Additionally, it clear represents the woman; however, all the men in the background have been blended together. This could be representing the phenomenon of men losing their identity to war.

This exhibition is based off the idea of a children's nursery A-Z Guide to animals that help them understand the wildlife around them and also the alphabet. By using paradoxing the children's nursery A-Z Guide, the grotesque facts of WWI are somehow exemplified and humanized. Also, the vast nature of an A-Z display the far reaching impacts of WWI.

There would be no exaggeration in saying our world was in pieces after WWI. A war can take huge financial toll on a nation, whether that be in generating supplies to fight or rebuilding a nation after an extensive term of fighting. Nations can struggle and need assistance during wartimes. Additionally, Europe had no shortage of the negative outcomes of WWI. This economic predisposition caused many European men to lose their jobs and lack the ability to support themselves and their families. This section discusses the rise in American philanthropy that helped rebuilt Europe, the Middle East and more during and after WWI.
