There are times when I WILL SHARE a slide and the workspace at the same time becuase I want you to see both. When I do this, I will spotlight it so that everyone sees it. The only way you wouldn't see it is if you turned off the zoom. If for some reason you want to adjust the size of wither image you can go to "View" at the top. Then click side by side' or speakers view. This will reduce all the boxes with people. When I spotlight you will only see what I spotlight and want you to focus on. If I spotlight something like the workspace and keep the screen up intentionally for your benefit but you prefer to minimize one, you can click on the parallel lines inbetween the slide and workspace or other video and move it left or right to change each size.

So you know, I have two computers. one which i am using for presentation and viewing, and the second attached to the webcam for the workspace. On the second computer I am able to see participant view- what it looks like on your side. This way I am adjusting on my screen so it appears exactly how I want it to show on your end. If something other shows up this is an issue of your settings. I can workshop with you the settings on your end.

Sadley she was not only irressponsive and antagonistic but became increasingly more abusive and complained about our efforts to be fair to everyone. I am so sorry if she monopolized or disrupted your experience, despite our efforts to support her in prosocial skills, setting clear class boundries, and constant n class supports, offering out of class supports, and sending her followup supports .Thank you for your patience with her and with the situation.

Sure! I am so glad your excited about mixing! I find it so fun! Did you get to do the mixing chart exercise, value/tint/tine, color wheel, or the pigments/science of color demo with us? Review those materials here? These gives you a good core foundation for all mixing. Mixing as you guessed includes hundreds of variations and there can be a whole class just on mixing charts! Mixing, as we reviewed will also vary depending on the brand, medium, pigment type, as well as hues and colors chosen-etc. I can absolutely share more resources and talk to you more about these nuances, as there is much more! Practice, experiment, play and you will continue to see all the neat ways paint mixes! Would you/ do you think others would be interested in a class just on mixing? I can offer this if there is an interest.

I found some of the technology logistics challenging. For example, when Dani was illustrating a technique, I couldn't always see what she was working on, or I could see it but it was in a small window. Maybe I was doing something wrong? But if so maybe it would be helpful to have a little intro showing participants how to switch between different views. Sometimes when I tried to do that I accidentally got out of the session and had to log back in, and ended up missing some things.

Of course! Zoom is tricky and takes time to get used to. We did go over viewing options - separate from the class wide spotlighting for your individual settings on our first day. The strategies were sent to you afterwords. Non the less, it still takes time/practice. Some computers require adjustment on personal settings. Next time please say something to me - so I can demonstrate for you again. Always ask! That's what I am here for. I am happy to help. Check out the technology column here in padlet and the slides from day 1 on using different viewing options.
