Why is it there?

Why are there differences between life expectancies in different countries?

I think that there are differences between life expectancies in different countries because of the health systems, environment, and resources. I say this because the health system here in Canada is better than the health systems in 3rd world countries, better health means a better chance of living longer. I also believe that the resources you have and the environment you live in can affect your health because, when the resources you need are immediate then a better chance of you having better health. Your environment can also affect you because when you live in a clean, healthy, sustainable environment then more chances for a longer life.

Why are there differences between birth rates in different countries?

I think there are differences between birth rates because of many factors like religion, cost of living, more women in the labor force, etc. The cost of living especially, in Canada has increased to the point where some people cannot afford to have children anymore. More women are educated and have jobs compared to back then, which has impacted fertility rates.

Why do some countries have more older people than other countries?

Some reasons countries have more older people than others because fewer people are dying, declining fertility rates, and migration. Some countries have fewer people dying with low fertility rates. When retirement comes some people like moving because of many reasons but mostly because of the cost of living.
