According to the guides loc gov website, FDIC stands for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. This corporation was a great help in the Great Depression regarding banks. Since banks had lost so much money, they weren't able to provide guaranteed deposits for the people. This corporation changed that and is still used in America to this very day. Now, with the FDIC, no one loses money in banks and they are very stable in America.

According to rma, the FCIC is a company that helped assist farmers in the Great Depression. In the Great Depression, many farmers lost tons of money for overproduction and underconsumption. As a result, the FCIC company was created to help farmers in time of financial distress. It guaranteed insurance money for those farmers. This is still used in America today through insurance and to provide for our everyday agricultural workers.

In the Great Depression, poverty for the elderly became an insane conflict which is unfair since they were already retired. Many recognize this today in America, our grandpas and grandmas have social security as a treat to the elderly and suffering.

President Roosevelt signed this labor act with "peaceful relations." This act led to become very serious and is used in California today to help create the labor laws.

The Federal Emergency Relief act was created in 1933. Its purpose was to create more employment opportunities and saving people's careers. For example, education programs for jobless teachers were created, part time jobs, and direct cash relief. This still affects me today because as a high school student I am able to get a part time job to save for my future.

WPA

The WPA stands for Works Progress Administration. It was created in the Great Depression in order to help the unemployed, and provide jobs. People were able to work to build things like parks, bridges etc. This effect is seen in California today because the stuff that was built in the Great Depression are visible today. Buildings such as Griffith Observatory and the Golden Gate bridge were constructed through this administration.
