Middle: Grandfather saw the fight and immediately went to save the chameleon from certain death and brought the little reptile home.Then the author used to give food to the chameleon. The chameleon ate the food very swiftly.
Ending: In the end, at the nursery school, when Mrs Ghosh came in after making her rounds, she began admiring and examining the papayas.Out popped Henry! Mrs Ghosh screamed. Grandmother did not let Henry enter the house. But three days later, the author found Henry sunning himself on the garden wall.

His tongue was the sort which came back to him with the food ,an insect attached to it. But before I could realize what had happen, the grasshopper held between my fingers would be lodged between Henry's jaws. Henry did not cause trouble in our house, but he create something like a riot in the nursery school down the road. It happened like this. When the papaya's in our garden were ripe, Grandmother usually sent a basket of them to her friend, Mrs ghosh , Who was the principal of the nursery school.On this occasion Henry managed to smuggle into the basket of papaya's when no one was looking. He was a harmless creature but one day he jumped out of the garden and went to a nearby nursery school and jumped into the basket of papayas the gardener plucked and when the gardener gave it to Mrs.Gosh the principal .The gardener went she started examining it out popped HENRY!Mrs.Gosh screams and her assistant comes and she also starts screaming after that somehow Henry managed to escape through the window and goes to the grandfather’s house and he gets fed .

He brought it home.The boy, would often tease the chameleon by ticking a finger at its ribs or placing his finger into its mouth. Henry always looked around with suspicion and never cared enough to bite the boy. Grandfather’s love for random and most ousted animals always irked grandmother.

M - When the papayas in the garden ripened, grandmother filled a bucket for Mrs. Ghosh – the principle of a nursery school. Henry while searching for his food (insects) went inside the basket and did not come out. In the school, when Mrs. Ghosh was rummaging the basket for ripened ones, all of sudden Henry came out. Seeing a chameleon in the basket, she screamed out aloud in horror, another teacher too joined her. Henry was confused at the reaction of the ladies; it got so frightened that it ran away from the window.

E - The incident reached up to grandmother. She heaved a sigh of relief as no one could make out that the chameleon was theirs. After a few days, the boy found Henry sunning on the wall of the garden. Thereafter, it lived there and kept reducing the growth of insects.

There was a chameleon named Henery.
Most people think chameleons are poisonous.
Some people were throwing stones at the chameleon.
Grandfather took the chamaleon and brought it home.
And that chameleon was Henry. When the papaya got ripe Grandmother usually sent a basket of papayas to her friend Mrs.Ghosh.
Henry crept in to the basket. She took one of the papaya and Henry jumped out of the papaya. She started screaming. Mr. Ghosh came and also started screaming. Henry managed to come out of
the room and went in to some classes. All children started running here and there. But Henry managed to jump out of window in to the garden. After three days Henry came back home.
