         <description><![CDATA[<p>Melotte 15, a young open star cluster with nearby dust pillars in the center of the Heart Nebula (IC 1805). Captured Thursday night last week. Circa 4.5 hours, SQA55, SV220, IMX571 camera. Hydrogen emmissions are blood red and Oxygen is blue. The SQA55 is a wide field scope so this is a very small part of the captured image. This region really needs a longer focal length scope but drizzling improved the detail&nbsp;very&nbsp;well.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>I reprocessed the 30min of UV IR data captured in Wales. Still got the core too close to burnout but the colours are more vibrant this time. The dark skies certainly help the Running Man to&nbsp;stand&nbsp;(!)&nbsp;out.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Another image from the Elan Valley. M31 the Andromeda Galaxy shows up well. The wings of Cygnus are just above the trees and a tiny California Nebula can be seen. Canon M50 mk2, 30s, ISO 1600, Tokina atx-i lens at f2.8 and 11mm. It is so dark that even with a really aggressive stretch, so the sky is nearly white, I can see almost no detail in the foreground. I have toned down the green skyglow as it just&nbsp;looks&nbsp;wrong!</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The Crescent Nebula, NGC 6888, in Cygnus. A shroud like nebulosity around a hot Wolf-Rayet star (WR 136). Plus plenty of fluorescing ionised hydrogen clouds distributed around the vicinity.</p><p>Taken with my Dwarf 3 smartscope. 30s subs at gain 60, for a total of 2h. Using the built in narrow band, ‘duo band’, filter to highlight the fluorescing hydrogen.</p><p>Some post processing with Affinity Photo.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Visually a Moon high in the sky shows little colour. Photos of the Moon can be boosted to show subtle colour variations caused by different mineral compositions.</p><p><br/></p><p>The slightly blue areas are rich in Titanium and the redish-orange are richer in iron.</p><p><br/></p><p>This image was captured with a Dwarf 3 smart telescope, then enhanced to boost the colours using Goigle Photos and Snapseed apps.</p>]]></description>
