2. My current interest level in politics is fairly high. Both women are very important to the history of the Supreme Court, and both were a part of some important decisions on the court. My absolute favorite part of the Declaration of Independence is the passage that says " But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government". Not only is it in one of my absolute favorite movies, "National Treasure", it still holds true today. It says that if a people thinks they're being governed unfairly, they have the right and responsibility to do so.
