         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>Video Content (Script):</strong><br>“Phonemic awareness is the ability to hear, identify, and play with individual sounds (phonemes) in spoken words. It is completely auditory and does not involve print. For example, when children can hear that ‘cat’ is made up of the sounds /c/ /a/ /t/, they are showing phonemic awareness.”</p><p><strong>Visual:</strong> A picture of children clapping syllables or an image of Elkonin sound boxes.</p><p><strong>Classroom Activity:</strong></p><ul><li><p><em>Rhyming Basket Game</em>: Provide a basket of objects or picture cards (cat, hat, ball, wall).          <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>Video Content (Script):</strong><br>“Phonics is the relationship between letters and the sounds they make. It helps children ‘crack the code’ of written language by connecting print to speech sounds. For example, when a child learns that the letter ‘m’ makes the /m/ sound, they can begin decoding simple words like ‘mat.’”</p><p><strong>Visual:</strong> Alphabet chart with highlighted letters and sound symbols.</p><p><strong>Classroom Activity:</strong></p><ul><li><p><em>Alphabet Sound Hunt</em>: Hide letters around the room.
