The 1920s was when jazz began its popularity in America. The genre was a thing during the previous generations, but it wasn't as popular. When jazz became popular during this time, dances such as the Charleston and the Black Bottom were everywhere. The average jazz band group ranged from 7-12 musicians.

During the 1920s and early 30s, America was going wild about aviation. This period of time was between two wars, and soon was nicknamed the Golden Age of Flight. All over the news, you would see countless stories about different air races and record setting flights. Also, airplanes evolved from being made out of wood, to streamlined metal.

Flagpole sitting, where people would sit on top of a flagpole for hours.
