I have always been a loving and forgiving person. Giving out my love is what makes me happy. I realized that I attract people who are in need of love. As a result, I am usually taken advantage of or used. I think of the quote “God put certain people in your life for a certain reason and amount of time”. With this being said, if my love given to a person is what helped them feel better about their situation, I am glad I was able to do that for them. Even if I am hurt or taken advantage of for my kindness, I will eventually see it and grow from it. While this person will see and acknowledge that love I gave them is what he/she and a human being deserves.

Anything that has to do with schoolwork, I have been procrastinating so much. I have been avoiding completing my homework as if I was running from a dog. I don’t know why I have been feeling this way towards school. Though, I am able to complete my schoolwork and keep my dog away from “eating” my homework.

Never have I ever thought I would ever experience this part in my life. It is so young, wild, and free. Before working, I dreaded going out and wanted to stay home all the time. Though, I have met some outgoing friends who have brought out this side of me that I never thought was in me. Going out, sneaking out, and being a teenager. Experiencing these fun memories, I have finally understood the meaning of being a teenager. It is so fun, but yet so educating at the same time. Although everything is such a new feeling, I am enjoying my lessons learned and my teenage years while it lasts.

I believe love is a feeling of caring and showing kindness for someone. Loving someone is putting the effort, thinking of that person’s wants/needs, and being there for them. Though, I have never experienced love outside of my parents. As a result, I don’t know what love is. However, as I grow older, I will understand the meaning of love.

Beginning with the moment I first held my niece, my eyes balled. I did not expect to cry, nor did I ever expect the feeling of already loving a person. It was so weird how much I loved and cared for my niece who was just born a few hours ago. It was as if I was the one who carried her for 9 months, though I can only imagine my sister's love for her daughter. Seeing this love I have for my niece, excites me for my love of being a mother.

If you were to ask me this question on the first day of school, I would have given a completely different response. I have changed from the first day of school. I have lost motivation in school, work, and my chores. I have been doing things in spite of the moment and experiencing life lessons. Though, at the end of the night, I am just confused about how I feel about everything.

As a kid, I was afraid of water. It was one of my biggest fears, due to the fact that you can drown from it. However, as I got older, I gained the deeper meaning of water with life. I realized that you only fear something if you allow yourself to be afraid of it. The chance of drowning in water is letting yourself go. Nevertheless, you can always float and pull yourself out of it. As another option, to protect yourself, wear a life jacket.

Not only does it save you from the potential embarrassment but it matures you as a person. It is a way of learning from a mistake. The way you respond affects how you perceive your mistake. Your response if controlled by you and being able to control your response is what allows you to grow as a person.
