When I was designing my website I faced problems like not being able to upload videos to the website so the way I resolved the problem was by uploading the video to YouTube and copy and paste the link to the website to get the video to show up on the website, the other problem I faced was trying to understand how the Wix editor worked so I had to look at different YouTube tutorials and read some written tutorials on the website so I could get a better understanding of the editor.

While I was in the process of drawing and designing some mock ups so I could test certain ideas like having pages or having it all on one page so it would be easier to use compared to having a lot of different pages. I also compared my ideas to different websites that was also created by Wix so I could get a general idea for my own personal website like keeping it all on one page so it was fast and assessable to anyone who visited the website and also using a decent amount of bright colours so it would look visually appealing to look at, from this it helped me changed some design ideas like getting rid of pages and keeping the general design simple, so it wouldn’t overwhelm anyone who would visit the page.

I also compared other websites; witch where made by Wix, to my website. The websites I viewed had a good creative design, which had bright colours and represented the product they were trying to showcase to people and also the websites had a good amount of depth in them to make it appealing to look at and go through. From my website I went with a very simple layout and design but this wouldn’t add depth to my website and be not that appealing to go through, and on my website there is a lack of bright colours so it looks dull.
