eTwinning projects give me the opportunity to bring new and interesting activities into the classroom and to collaborate with teachers and students from other countries.

I teach second grade and my students are 8–9 years old. They are very enthusiastic and happy to take part in this project.

The town boasts a rich history dating back to the 13th century, initially serving as a settlement for the noble Odrowąż family.

It is famous for its well-preserved Renaissance town hall located in the middle of the market square, the 15th-century Saint Sigismund Church, and the Szydłowiecki family castle, which is situated on an island surrounded by a moat.

Historically, Szydłowiec was a significant center for local Jewish culture, with a large Jewish community until the mid-20th century.

Today, it is known for its cultural heritage, historical architecture, and as a local administrative center.

My students are full of energy and curiosity, just like me. I really enjoy sports and outdoor activities, and I like to bring that fun into our lessons.

Our school is located in the city of Khmelnytskyi in western Ukraine. Our city lies in the heart of the historic Podillia region, known for its gentle landscapes, warm traditions, and welcoming people.

The school opened its doors on 31 August 1976.

Local traditions and historical documents show that this area was inhabited by free peasants who were granted land by the ruler in recognition of their military service. Moreover, the legend of the Oak of Borzești, located nearby, is associated with Ștefan cel Mare’s childhood and highlights his strong connection to these lands.

This connection is also supported by important historical monuments in the area. The church in Borzești, built between 1493 and 1494 by Ștefan cel Mare and his son, stands as a significant example of medieval Moldavian architecture.

In addition, the stone bridge located in Negoiești, built around 1495 by order of the voivode, is one of the oldest surviving bridges from his time, demonstrating his concern for infrastructure and trade routes in the region.

Initially, the commune was called Borzești, but in 1957 it was renamed Ștefan cel Mare to emphasize the importance of the voivode in the history of the area.

Therefore, the commune of Ștefan cel Mare represents not only a settlement with long-standing traditions, but also a symbol of the historical legacy left by the great ruler of Moldavia.

I have been teaching for the past 19 years, but this year I am teaching in a small mountainous village called Simopoulo in southwestern Greece. Taking part in eTwinning projects is a great opportunity to provide students with an engaging learning environment, but it is also a challenge, since most of my students deal with learning difficulties.

The most famous landmark of Zagnańsk is the Bartek Oak – one of the oldest and most impressive oak trees in Poland, estimated to be several hundred years old. The area is an attractive destination for tourists, especially those interested in nature, hiking, and outdoor recreation.

Due to its convenient location and proximity to the regional capital, Zagnańsk is also developing as a residential area for people working in Kielce.

My name is Lucia Sorrentino and I am originally from Naples, specifically from Torre del Greco, a beautiful seaside town known all over the world for its coral tradition.

For personal reasons, I moved to Terni, in the green region of Umbria, where I now live and work.

I am currently a support teacher at the Comprensive Institute of Acquasparta, teaching in a second-grade class at San Gemini Primary School, with 24 wonderful and enthusiastic students.

We are truly excited to be part of this project! It is a great opportunity for us to learn, share experiences, and grow together with new friends from other countries.

One of the most important events in San Gemini is the “Infiorata”, a wonderful tradition where the streets are decorated with colorful carpets made entirely of flower petals. The designs are created by hand and represent artistic, religious, and cultural themes.

During this event, the whole community comes together: families, children, and teachers collaborate to create these beautiful floral artworks. It is a unique and emotional experience that celebrates creativity, cooperation, and local traditions. 🌸

My learners are enthusiastic children between the ages of 6 and 8, and they are very excited to meet new friends from across Europe. In order to give them the best experience, we are eager to connect with other European schools to improve their language skills and collaborate on meaningful projects. We have a very flexible approach and are interested in integrating English with subjects like Art, PE, Music, or Science.

We are excited to learn about your cultures while we explore these subjects together!"

The school has 50 teachers and 740 students from Grade 1 to Grade 12, including a diverse student body with repatriated Meskhetian students. Instruction is in Georgian.

Our students actively participate in academic, cultural, environmental, and international projects. This well-rounded approach helps them become confident, responsible, lifelong learners, while consistently producing gold and silver medal winners every year.
