         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>the audience was a lot more free to do as the pleased (a little like the audiences in sports today) in Elizabethan theatre, while we are expected to be quiet, sit still and be respectful</li><li>The people watching the plays mostly didn't have completely seperated seats.          <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>The actors didn‘t use a lot of props</li><li>Sound effects were used </li></ul><div>          -&gt; they were made backstage or in the highest gallery</div><ul><li>Actors  had to play multiple roles; this meant that they had to show the audience who they were through costumes and their acting</li><li>Since most plays seem to have been written in verses (traditionally at least), it was important for the actors to accentuate the words in a particular manner</li><li>The actors had a very expensive wardrobe, since noblemen etc would sometimes give their clothes to their servants as gifts who sold them to actors, vecause they weren’t allowed to wear them.
