An example of when the sound effects where used in a action scene was when Tris was getting knifes thrown at her, which made us thought something was going to happen. Another technique used in the movie which is special effects Divergent has many special affects to make their society seem more futuristic or the sciences make you believe that they could actually of done this stuff, an example of this is when Tris was in the scene where she was surrounded by mirrors, in real life they added the mirrors with a green screen. In addition to this there is another technique which are the close ups in the movies one example of this is when Tris was getting the knifes thrown at her, the close up was taken when the knife grazed her ear and you could see the fear on her face. The movie Divergent has also used the high angle shot which makes people see that the character is scared, an example of this in the movie was when Tris was climbing the Ferris wheel, this is an example because it showed us the angle from the carom pointing down at Tris well she climbed.
