Should it be compulsory to learn on Saturday or not? There is no single answer to that question. Each point of view has it's own pluses and minuses. For example, if we want to make Saturday a free from school day , we need to rethink and change curriculum to ease the load of work that lays on students. It will take a lot of time. Also, it's impossible to learn everything with only five days of school a week, especially in schools where students spend more time learning certain subjects, because curriculum on that subjects includes more themes than usual one.It seems like learning on Saturday is the best option available, because it makes the process of getting new knowledge easier and allows students to make it through curriculum faster.

Every student loves going to the school on Saturday or not? For example, we think that it's counterproductive, because after the week of school students get tired and digest information worse. Considering that the number of lessons usually stays the same compared to other days and that there also might be some difficult subjects on that day it doesn't make any good to students. Sunday is the only day off and it is not enough. Children have to do all their homework and all those things they didn't manage to do during the week, to clean their room, to go shopping , to hang out with their friends. Students doesn't have time that they can possibly devote to their hobbies . Constant stress and sleep deprivation can't be helpful too, because they weaken immune system , cause headaches, lack of attention and etc. One day a week is not enough for children to rest and get enough sleep. So , we think that it shouldn't be compulsory to learn on Saturday. ( Dovydenko D./ Evseenko P.)
