Fossils can help us because we can study what the fossil's animal dies of and try to prevent those ways from happening to today's animals.People can explore fossils to gain information.People can learn a lot from fossils!

Fossils are very interesting. They teach us about the past. A fossil is basically a leftover of an animal's bones or footprint or feces, just an olden day mark.
The most popular fossil are dinosaurs. But that doesn't mean that only dinosaurs had fossils. There were many other animals, and, in fact, there were many plants which were being fossilized too!
The fossil process was : The soft parts of the animal's body decomposes by leaving the hard parts like the skeleton behind. The skeleton and the other bones buried by small particles of rock called sediment.🦖

Fossils are left over body parts or traces of prehistoric animals. The fossils could also be footprints, eggs, nests, and feces. Fossils can help us learn the history of the earth and the animals living on it. It shows what animals lived in prehistoric times. If you find a tooth of a meat eater for example you can see what kind of food they ate. The tooth can also tell you the size of the creature this differs of how big or small the tooth is.
The process of the fossil was:
the dinosaur/creature dies then the soft parts of the animal ( like skin or other soft body parts) Decompose. Mud or rocks cover the leftovers of the creature (including bones). layers of rocks, sand and mud cover the leftover. Then the layers harden and turn into sedimentary rocks. After The rocks some of the bones get crushed. Then water seeps into the leftovers and leave minerals behind. Then the leftovers turn to stone. This is the process of permineralization.
In conclusion fossils are very interesting. You can learn many interesting things about them.🦕

Fossils give us so much information. There are different types of fossils. There are plant fossils and animal fossils. Plant fossils can have the imprint of a plant like a leaf, fern, or bush. You can even see what kind of claymate the plant lived in bye seeing the outline of it. You can also see how old it is.
Animal fossils are different. they Can also have the imprint of an animal but you cannot see what environment they lived in just bye first glance at the fossil. But you can tell if you can find out what animal it was. And then thinks about where that species lived. There are also sea fossils. These are imprints of seashells, fish, seaweed or any other animal of plant that lives underwater. [most of the times fish of seashells.]
They can also tell us of what the world was like. There is one more fossil that I know of. It is a poop fossil. This is when an animal does its business, it sits there for thousands and millions of years and turns into a poop fossil. I have touched and seen all of these fossils at least 3 times. I love to learn about fossils. They are very very interesting!🦕
