- Betelgeuse is 800 Light years away, so by the time it blows up, it will have blown up 800 years ago.
- The Sun is 8 light minutes away, meaning if it blows up, we will only see it 8 minutes later.
- The closest star is... Alpha Centauri? I don't remember but it's in the Centauri Triple Star System.
