I believe that the performing phase is the most important. During the performing phase we actually get to see what a team is capable of. This is when most of the task or goal is completed as well as when the team grow the most. During my work experience I have found that most of the time creating a team or getting a group together isn't the most difficult part, but rather getting the team to work together and actually execute the task efficiently and correctly. Having these stages would have allowed team work to be more cohesive and allowed the job to get done better while also increasing team efficiency.
