However, I also think that using too much digital technologies to work on literacy skills is a false good idea. Indeed, we still need sometimes to write on paper so without an auto corrector. Then, working with digital technologies could lead us to rely / depend too much on this type of aid.

I think it is very important they are adressed while teaching with technology because they are impacted by this new way of learning and impact, themselves, the way we learn and process new teachings.

In the idea of teaching languages I believe that technology should be associated with traditional learning (limited use of technology), language is a social thing and all the skills are permeable and should be collectively worked on, with and without the use of technologies.

It could be interesting to address them in our teaching, in some ways, however, it could never replace written exams, where technology and internet are not there, because using digital tools could also mean using online dictionaries for instance, because it could not be verified every time

If technology is to be implemented in education, we should address them. Even though children are increasingly trained from an early age to use the new technologies, we should offer them the competences and the abilities to really take advantage of them.

Many agree that it's important for students to learn how to use technology effectively. However, there is also a view that traditional skills, like writing by hand, should not be completely replaced. Maybe the key would be to balance these two methods to ensure that learners are really prepared for both.

Therefore, I think it is crucial to address them in our teaching since the students will have more tools deals with the assignments more effectively and facilitate online research.

Maybe it’s not our responsibility to teach students how to use it, that's more what IT classes do. However, we could guide them on how to use these tools in ways that align with the objectives of learning English.

For example, we can show students how to research reliable information for assignments, use digital platforms in English, or practice their language skills through online content.

However, we could combine English and IT to work on digital abilities and language learning at the same time. We could collaborate with the IT department to do so.

I do believe we should address them in our teaching due to the growing necessity of adapting education to the new technology era. There are many different activities that could be carried out, but I believe it is important to teach students from a very young age how to differentiate websites, how to find verified information and how to double check if what they are reading/watching is true or fake news.

We should definitely address them in our teaching, since if we don’t our students will still make use of them, but in a less resourceful way. We should implement them in collaboration with other teachers and subjects so that students understand how convenient they can be when dealing with different challenges.

These skills certainly need to be dealt with in teaching, e.g. teachers can incorporate them into lessons by using technology to enhance learning, fostering critical engagement with online content and encouraging learners to use digital tools creatively and responsibly.
