The way I changed the camera to shutter priority was I switched it to S. Shutter priority is a system used in some automatic cameras in which the shutter speed is selected by the user and the appropriate aperture is then set by the camera. From what I saw and how the photos come out the pictures tend to either have a bright light or darkness background, others show blur and objects floating/froze. Shutter priority is useful when you're trying to capture fast motions and being able to freeze it. For example it could be used in sports, in land, and in water.
