The video takes us, once again, to a change. Thinking about small learning activities, I think it could be a way to be more successful. Sometimes we focus on a goal very much and plan more generally. Perhaps, by dividing the learning in blocks, using for this, ideas / proposals of the students, can contribute to the motivation and creativity.

Well, to sum up, the goal is once again helping students to develop 21st century skills. This implies that FCS must be fully connected to the experiences our learners have outside of the classroom, hence the need for designing a vision of learning and teaching that responds to trends, that encourages innovation and particularly, technological innovation. Thus, Learning Activities are implemented in a FCS, activities that don't fit any particular learning objective but can be used in different lessons.

The purpose of iTEC Learning Activities is to support teachers in introducing innovation into their teaching practice. The idea is to lead pupils to the final goal, step by step and breaking up learning into smaller building blocks.
It is of crucial importance that iTEC Learning Activities involve teamwork, use of technological tools, real-world applications and working in a way which is different from traditional teaching and learning practices, in different classroom environments. There is a big variety of resources teachers can integrate into their classes, taking into consideration their learning objectives, the lesson context and focusing on the 21st century skills.

Ana Fonseca, Portugal: We have no doubts of what a future classroom scenario is, and Will is very clear in explaining it. More and more we, teachers, have to act in such a way as to make our students more collaborative, creative and reflective both inside and outside the classroom. And by using Learning activities teachers can easily create classroom scenarios like the ones I’ve just mentioned. They are simple and effective in clarify what is to be done either by the teacher or by the students and moreover, they are not confined to one subject. This is a very interesting video to start exploring learning activities and building classroom scenarios.

Tiziana Panaro (Bari) Italy. The learning process is something general therefore it is important to break up this general vision into simple stepping stones that provide concrete ideas of how we can achieve the scenarios in our classroom. In fact, a good learning activity allows us to teach different subjects and more efficiently. Learning activities require more cooperation and communication between teachers. This methodology is really new...I would like to learn a bit more about it....
