         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. Anna had Edema of ankles visible.<br>2. Her fingernails and toenails were a blue/gray color.<br>3. She had evidence of vomit and blunt trauma to the head.<br>4. Anna's manner of death was most likely natural.<br>5. Through carbohydrate- simple sugar test, complex (test with Lugol's), and lipid test with brown paper, there was a positive result. The protein test with Biuret was negative.<br>6. Trace amounts of Hydroxyurea was found in Anna Garcia's blood. This is used to treat Sickle Cell Anemia.<br>7. No evidence of blood or drugs were found in Anna's blood.&nbsp;<br>8. Blood glucose level 280mg/dL<br>9. A prescription bottle of Vasotec was found; however, she had not taken this medication in 3-4 days.<br>10. Stent is present in the left anterior descending coronary artery.</div>]]></description>

She also had a reduced red blood cell count and an increased white blood cell count.<br>3. Anna Garcia had a splenetic sequestration.<br>4. Anna was tachycardiac, high heart rate, and was on ACE Inhibitor.<br>5. According to colony morphology: small and wavy/irregular colonies with a raised elevation that looked redish/pink<br>6. Using the Gram results (in Anna's case Gram-) along with other biochemical tests, Anna's sample turned out to be Serratia marcescens</div>]]></description>
