Après 10 mois d’exil sur l’Ile d’Elbe, ce jour marque le départ de Napoléon - accompagné de 1.200 hommes - de Portoferraio à bord de 7 bateaux dont L’Inconstant, l’Etoile et la Petite Spronara.

• 1er mars, débarquement à Golfe-Juan dans l’après-midi
Itinéraire : Vallauris Golfe-Juan – Cannes Volonté de rallier la garnison d’Antibes, seuls les émissaires de Napoléon s’y rendront mais seront fait prisonniers pendant que Napoléon patiente à Golfe-Juan. 
1ère nuit à Cannes (6 km)

• 2 mars
Itinéraire : Cannes – Le Cannet – Mougins – Mouans-Sartoux – Grasse (halte au plateau de Roquevignon) – Saint-Vallier-de-Thiey (2ème halte au Plan de l’Apié) – Escragnolles - Séranon (arrivée à 20h). 
2ème nuit à Séranon (57 km)

• 3 mars
Itinéraire : Séranon (départ vers 7h) – Chateau- vieux – La Batie-Castellane (déjeuner) – Senez- Barrême (fort avant la nuit). 3ème nuit à Barrême (48km)

• 4 mars
Itinéraire : Barrême – Chateauredon – Digne-les- Bains – Aiglun – Mallemoisson - Malijai. 
4ème nuit à Malijai (54 km)

• 5 mars
Itinéraire : Malijai – L’Escale – Château Arnoux / Saint-Auban – Volonne – Aubignosc – Peipin Sisteron – Le Pôet – Upaix – Ventavon – Monêtier- Allemont – La Saulce – Tallard – Gap. 
5ème nuit à Gap (63km)

• 6 mars
Itinéraire : Gap – La Fare en Champsaur – Saint- Bonnet-en-Champsaur – Le Noyer – Saint-Firmin – Corps. 
6ème nuit à Corps (42 km)

• 7 mars
Itinéraire : Corps – La Mure – Laffrey – Vizille – Brié et Angonnes – Grenoble. 
7ème nuit à Grenoble – Isère (31km)

• Départ de Grenoble le 9 mars et arrivée à Paris le 20 mars.
