Hi everyone! I´m really glad to join the global conversation that began today at Introducing Technology-Enhanced Teaching.

Although my professional background is mostly IT oriented, I always have worked in educational contexts. My experience as a professor and/or coordinator ranges from HS to collage, in formal or “not so formal” education systems. I consider myself a lifelong learner and enjoy very much in constantly growing my PNL. Depending on the on-going projects I have, my twitter account @angrabe is a personal repository, where I share resources and thoughts.

I´m also a hobbyist photographer, feel free to visit my Instagram profile at @anselmo1972.

The learning task consisted in using the
following sources of information: http://goo.gl/t2jZOrhttp://goo.gl/Ad6yQO both posts in my
personal Blog, to reflect about advantages and disadvantages of using automated
On-Line color schemes generators. I suggested using padlet.com to create a wall
and show their thoughts.

1) It enabled me and my students to evaluate the impact of ICT in creativity as a required skill for 21st. S. students and teachers. We discovered that, without a background knowledge, On-Line generators might hide the complexity of designing.

2) One of the learning objectives planned as part of the standards in my school is to prove the limitations of automated tasks and enhance creativity by performing complex cognitive tasks. This learning activity accomplished that goal, providing students with the chance to experience themselves those limitations.

3) Some students needed support to learn privacy options from padlet and some others needed help in using the embed code to insert their walls in their blogs. In the future, I should consider providing students with video tutorial about these matters.

4) Not in this case. All information sources and tools where provided by me.

5) Students had the chance to produce a padlet just the way they decided to. I did not intervene in their choices about how to present their reflections. Students consume information provided by me, but after they had to create a padlet to show their thoughts.

6) As the students had to present their work, presentation skills where developed.

7) I consider time was enough and next time I will introduce some video tutorials first.
