         <description><![CDATA[<div>After that the Congress recommended that colonists form their own governments, the Declaration of Independence was written by Thomas Jefferson. Also on July 2 the Congress voted for independence. And finally on july 4 the congress adopted the Declaration of Independence. This affected the war because The Declaration of Independence stated certain ideals that the colonists should be able to be independent if they want.</div>]]></description>
