I am very committed because I have attended every single session last term, therefore completing all the work to a good level.

I am flexible because last year when I was studying level 2 media I was a student rep, therefore I volunteered and gave up my own time. Because I had to leave my lesson to be a study rep, therefore gave up my time and had to catch up on my work in my own time.

I am determined to pass level 3 and achieve my 2 A levels and also push myself by getting involved in the media industry by volunteering and getting to know the people there.

This specific job for the sun are similar to majority news paper companies but the sun is a massive newspaper world wide and to be apart of this industry you will need to be a quick thinker and professional journalist so pass NCTJ to degree level and then you would reach the requirements for this job role. I think if I work hard this year and achieve my 2 a levels and get on the NTCJ then I think I can hopefully in the future get this job because this is my dream job.

The description in this job role they want some one who is smart and savvy which the specify and is description. This job is located all a round the world but this specific job is located in London. Therefore you will have to get transport there it like the sun and others which would b difficult and also need NTCJ to be apart of the journalism industry. I think I could get this job is I put in the effort and hopefully get there in the end which is my target in the next five years.

This specific job role for journalism doing newspaper articles they want someone who has an enquiring mind, enjoy researching and investing stories, determined and persistent and finally get all the facts correct from the story and publish it on time.

I think this is a job I want in 3-5 years time. I think I tick majority of the boxes for this job but I would need to go to university and get a dirgree in journalism which I think will help me get e job over others.

My attendance and punctuality to lessons are good because I am
always here and I haven’t missed on single day of media since I started in September
which am proud of. Also I don’t think I have been late, which am very proud of
and want to keep it up.My research and analysing skills are good because i have searched up loads of different jobs involving journalism which I really want to do as a career. Unfortunately I haven’t done the homework about 3 different sectors which im going to do ASAP and also catch up on everything if needed.Confidence in verbal and written communication my confidence has improved so much since I started last year when I was studying level 2 media. Now I feel confidence to share my opinions with the class whenever im in Loraine’s class and Leilas class which im proud of and want to keep It up. Organisation skills and achieving deadlines I think my organisationskills are good because im well organized when I want to be but sometimes I can get distracted and sometimes be lazywhich im going to avoid being like that. Achieving deadlines with coursework im good at it but sometimes theirs homework’s I totally forget about it and not complete it which is terrible and I need to change and make sure this doesn’t happen again in the future if u want to achieve a good grade.This week I need to improve on work I haven’t completed or work I can complete to a much higher standard to make sure I get a better grade. And pass this unit and then get a merit at the end and go onto NTCJwhich I really want to do this year.

Interview skills
My feedback was good I got told my voice was clear and I got my point and my strengths across which I'm proud of.
I was good explaining my experience in the media industry confidently which looks good in a interview and hopefully get me hired in a real interview for the media industry.

I need to develop more experience. By that im going to do more work experience which will look better in my future interview.

I have been effective today completing my targets because i have completed my leaflet on journalism and I have also completed my evaluation sheet.

I will develop my action plan so I know which day I will do the un-finished work and make sure all the work is completed to a good standard, next session will be the final deadline.

My areas of planning I have improved from last term have most deffinatly been organisation because now I have completed majority of my work last term I was behind on loads of work and just scraped the deadline.

Criteria 2.1

Compare and contrast working methods in different sectors using examples where possible.

For my summary I am going to be comparing the similarities between music and film. The first question which was ‘identify the working practices of the media sector?’ They both are very similar but music videos’ use auto tune which changes the singer’s voice to make them sound more impressive. But in a film they do not use auto tune therefore don’t need to change their voice. The reason the film industry don’t use auto tune because it would be such a pointless process which will just cost them more money.

The film and the music industry are similar because they both have advances InTechnology for example special effects and auto tune they both use these in the film and music industries without them it would be dull and boring. In films they have made special effects much efficient and extremely realistic just like music videos use now which engage the audience and make them known worldwide. Auto tune is used much more in music because it makes the singer look stronger with back up music to make them sound louder and clearer and especially engaging.

Music and Film industries are similar in this because they both offer the same work force because they sustained work times, they are near enough the same types of job roles, therefore they will all be working as full time apart from the editors and for the music they will be using auto tune while they’re editing the final clips.

The music and the film industry are similar because they both are moderated by barb for instance if they do reach their requirements they will not be aired. If a piece of music is not suitable to be aired for under age people they will have to transform it to a clean version and maybe blank the words or change them.

at work experience I got to experience what a journalist does on a day by day basis.
It was a great experience for mr because I got to experience major confernces such as, Spurs and Arsenal.
This is the job I want to do in the future because its something different everyday unlike a person working in a office.
difficulties of this work experience was I couldn't do short hand, therefore I couldn't write as much as the journlaists their but ibn the future that's something I want to be doing.
