I was surprised by the choice of medium that they chose for this activity. It was something I never dared to or had the opportunity to explore before. It was refreshing to try out something new and I really liked it. It showed me that this industry is open to various art forms and I am intrigued by that. The lecturers were patient with us and taught us to their best ability. Learning how to animate with them was a blast.

I learnt that CMD doesn't cover only things like poster designs and all. There is an aspect of animation we can put in to designs as well. Learning how to use After Effects and Photoshop was a fun activity and I feel like I would be benefiting from this greatly in the future. Doing the animations for my poster was funny as well as interesting. I would like to do it again when I have time.

I had a lot of fun creating a story for my persona board. Although majority of it was nonsense and all, I found it fun to make a story that intrigued other classmate's attention and their laughter. Having to piece a story together from random pictures we sought off the internet was just funny in my opinion. (Never let us do that again). I was a bit surprised to see that we focused on personas instead of products or interior like I thought we would. It was a different experience from what I originally thought of XPID.

I don't really understand what XPID wants to do? Are we allowed to focus on 2D works or are we supposed to have expertise in 3D works and like alumni did, the inner workings if a product? Is the appeal of XPID just that it is more for people who are willing to learn and have a growth mindset?
