Within this role the rehearsal director is responsible for supervising and co ordinating the rehearsals with the company. The responsibility of this role is to ensure that the dancers know and are able to interpret the work set by the choreographer.

During the creation of the show I was also a Dancer within the company in which allowed me to be apart of the rehearsal process and also feel confident with the final product at the end of the rehearsal. I was able to see what people struggled with and help them and allow them to understand what steps ned to be taken to allow success within the dance. 

Personally throughout the creative process I believe that I didn’t execute my job role effectively and I personally believe that I executed the role as a rehearsal director half heartedly as I wasn’t always reliable and was absent and unable to meet expectations through out the making of this show. I personally believe that I could of done a better job being the rehearsal director and also make sure that my co whort felt confident and comfortable with the choreography.

A  dancer is someone who is able to follow choreography and allow the director to fully see the vision of the show, as a dancer you are required to be punctual and also professional during all of the rehearsal process. Dancers also communicate with the choreographer and assist if the choreographer needs help.  
During the creative process and rehearsal I don't Believe in my opinion i was Very useful as I was out of dance and also absent until half way through the process. This is because as a collocative we had so many ideas that were really broad and so during the creative process we were able to narrow down and also decide collectively what we thought would stand out more and send a bigger message. One of the similarities that stayed through out the creative process was for the costume we had handprints to show unwanted hands and also we kept with the same colour pallet of being NUDE ,BLACK AND RED.
However we did change one of the dances as it included male roles which heavily contained masculinity and we thought as a collective that it was sending mixed signals and also we wanted to make it more about how women and female dancers were showing more of a vulnerable side and how it can effect them in any way shape or form.
I believe that during the performance having quotes for each dance was very effective as it portrayed the message more clear and also set a sombre atmosphere. This was also effective because after the show audience members were saying how many felt uncomfortable and also didn't realise something so small can make a massive effect to one person. In my opinion i believe that the voice over/ news report used near the beginning of the show was also effective as people were able to gather information and also realise that sexualisation/harassment is becoming more common in todays society.
The Lighting however i believe didn't go to plan in the final performance as it was originally meant to go from strong bold colours to light wash colours to show how trauma has weakened them as a person, instead the colour did the opposite in which it could show the weakened person fought to survive it. 
I believe that in the final performance my Job role wasn't effective as many of the members of the company said they didn't feel as comfortable knowing the  choreography  including myself and i believe that next time i know my errors and i will be able to improve on them and execute them properly next time.
Personally i believe that my performance role was effective as i was able to demonstrate facial expressions and also being able to have strong gestures throughout however i also do believe that i didn't execute the choreography as fully as i could of.
