I've already mentioned it before - and, thankfully, this suggestion was implemented right away - it was about having a possibility of asking questions to the speakers before the session.

I completely understand the time constraints and all the challenges that come with it but having a designated time (longer time periods) for Q&A and receiving feedback would also be super helpful.

I like the remote aspect of this series. I would suggest this continue to be part of the series (or hybrid for anyone who may want in-person interaction). I think more discussion on how to implement or develop tools for languages that some technologies aren't equipped for would be great (one example is ChatGPT can't handle certain languages that it has no input for - how can language teachers still incorporate this tool in their courses?)

I would like to meet during the school year and in-person. I found it difficult to participate in hands-on activities while traveling over the summer, since I usually couldn't sit down with my laptop. I think some preparation materials could help us get more out of the sessions, like readings or videos.

One recommendation I have for the professional development series is that we may have been assigned some small tasks before and/or after the sessions to get more involved in the learning process because I consider these series as something I have joined to contribute my professional development even though we have voluntarily become a part of a research. So, having little tasks with some tools we have explored in these series would be nice.

I really like the idea about assigning tasks before sessions so participants can get familiar with the technology in advance and also troubleshoot during our sessions :)
