Color is different wave lengths that the light obsorbs. Depending on the amount it obsorbs affects the color we will see. The color we see also depends on the chemical bases of each product, that is why there are different colored diamonds. In order to see these colors we need a light source, the molecules we are going to see, and a director which in this case is our eyes. Without these three things, color wouldn’t be a thing.

There are different colored diamonds because of differences in their chemical structure. Colorless minerals, for example, have no color because they have impurities in their structure. On the other hand, some colored diamonds and gemstone have electrons in their d orbital that absorb light energy, and later release it as heat, which is how they are colored. Furthermore, diamonds that have certain chemical structures capable of absorbing and deflecting light, will be colored based on the light they deflect. This means that diamonds are colored based on how their structures are build. Diamonds with structures that have impurities will have no color and diamonds while structures capable of absorbing and reflecting light will have color.

Color is the reaction that takes place that release lights and different pigments based on chemical elements used. For example, in fireworks, they are incandescent so they use chemical reactions to fire up they firework. To get the colors they use different elements to get luminescence. As examples, yellow fireworks are made from sodium, blue from copper and green from barium. Also, color is perceived from the eye as the electrons in the atoms move and react to release light waves. These reactions allow for us to see different colors instead of being monochromatic. The waves release from the chemical reaction allow for a whole spectrum of light to be perceived through the eyes as what we define as color.

Also The origin of color
in gemstones is not always down to the presence of transition metals, however. The transfer of electrons between ions in a gemstone’s structure, as a result of the absorption of wavelengths of visible light, can also be responsible in some cases.

Reasoning: my reasoning is that gemstone get there color by absorbing so much light.

Color can be referred to as the spectral composition of visible light. For instance, the podcast Chemistry of Color mentions that color is perceived by our eyes as wavelengths of light that are absorbed and reflected by different substances. Certain chemical substances and elements can reflect or transmit light. The video Science of Firework Colors also discusses how different chemicals or components contribute to color. Based on this evidence, color depends on what is being absorbed and reflected. We learn how color is illuminated and how different products can influence color.

Color is something that everyone sees unless they are bling but if you're color blind than your still seeing colors but they are just different. Color is a lot of different things and there is something that takes away the color. Color is something that's comes off and gets absorbed and than reflected in able to see it, but there are chemicals to make them go away. That chemical is called bleach, there is a substance that's in the bleach and chemicals that will make the color just disappear and it would become a whole different color. Color is everywhere and anywhere you go, and look.

Color is a type of colorful colors that could make drawing more enjoying to see. For example there is many colors red, white, black, blue, pink and more these colors could make rain bows and art. The reason they made colors its because they dont want everything to be the same color they want more color to the streets or house but color is just a visual or observable color that could bring joy to many people.

The different colors of diamonds are usually develops when high-energy radiation emitted by nearby radioactive mineral grains penetrates the diamond. For example, ‘’Some synthetic alexandrites are closer to the naturally-occurring versions than others’’. ‘’It contains different minerals and products that make color’’. ‘’Sunlight doesn’t have a uniform contribution from all colours in the spectrum’’. ‘’Some synthetic alexandrites are closer to the naturally-occurring versions than others’’. Based on this evidence, it depends on how the colors react and warm temperature. My classmates learned how gemstones react when light hits the minerals.

Claim:There are different colors of diamonds due impurities in their chemical structure and light.
Evidence:"Alexandrite’s colour is a consequence of impurities present in its chemical structure." Meaning that impurities in the chemical structure of a diamond is the reasoning behind its color. Not only does this play a part, but so does light."...alexandrite’s colour doesn’t remain the same and can vary when its placed in different light sources."
Reasoning:Therefore, there are different colors of diamonds not only due to impurities in their structure. But, because of light aswell.
