We chose this cropping pattern because it makes it easy to harvest the palnts.we can also plant a variety of plants such as paddy, corn, soybean and pineapple. This cropping pattern is also efficient because the river system will reach through the every corner of the crops. It will also save the costs as the water system is from a natural source that is the river. There must be a distance when planting the crops so that there will be room for the plant to grow.

We choose grid pattern as our crop cultivation. It is because we can optimal sunlight exposure.Paddy plants are relatively short, and planting them in a square pattern allows each plant to receive more uniform sunlight exposure. This aids in photosynthesis and promotes even growth. Then,it is ease of machinery use. Some modern agricultural machineries, like tractors and transplanters, are often designed for square planting systems. This makes operations such as tilling, planting, and harvesting more efficient.

we chose intercropping because its the technical term for the practice of planting two or more crops in close proximityand by doing this successfully requires a bit of additional focus on companion planting. This is to ensure your plants aren’t hoarding resources, or attracting all the wrong insects. With that definition, it’s easy to see why this is an attractive option for gardeners with limited space. Instead of devoting a whole bed to carrot and cabbage, you can fill in gaps with carrots or cabbage. In fact, if done well, intercropping can double your garden’s efficiency. Basically, you can grow two or more crops in the same space!

We use the method of dividing crop place. Half of the place will not be planted while half of the place will be planted. During harvest, soil on the planted part will take a few weeks to get fertile again and this cause farmers to lose profit. Thus, by using the empty plot, farmers can regularly plant without having to wait. Sprinklers are used between the crops to allow the plant get sufficient water to live.
The type of plant used are squash, maize and beans. These are also known as 'The Three sisters' because each plant will get and give benefit to other plant. This can reduce cost needed for farmers to cultivate plants.

-

Intercropping is the practice of growing two or more crops in a proximity. Intercropping is done mainly to produce more crop products in a same given field and to make great use of resources. The benefits are intercropping help on climate resilience through higher plant resources efficiency, meaning the nutrients, space and water are used to the fullest. However, this pattern of cropping requires a lot of attention, so they’re time and labour consuming.

we chose this cropping pattern for palm oil plantation because the 8.8m distance between every palm tree provide a non competitive space for the palm trees to acquire nutrition, sunlight and water.Another reason is when the palm trees have reached their adult state their leaves starts to form a big canopy thus the big distance between the palm trees will ensure that the leaves of the palm trees will not touch each other thus making it easier to do maintenance of the palm trees. The third reason is for harvesting the oil palm. It is easier to cut the fruit and to load those oil palm to a carriage. Not only that, it is useful gather the palm leaves so it can be a organic fertilizer for the soil and trees

We chose crop rotation. It is the practice of rotating crops or sequentially planting different crops on the same plot of land. This rotation improves soil health, optimize soil nutrients, and combat pests and weeds. The advantages are it increases soil fertility, increases crop yield, increases soil nutrients and reduces soil erosion. However, there are also disadvantages such as it involves risk in terms of the cost and it requires more knowledge and skills. There’s 3 types of crop rotations. One-year rotation is the planting of maize and then mustard. For a two-year rotation, there could be two, three or four crops to be planted within the whole duration. Three year rotation involves a series of crops to be planted within a three year duration while meeting all the nutrient requirements of each crop.

We chose subsistence farming, intensive subsistence agriculture, through the use of hydroponic. The reasons of our choice is that, this practise took less space and less human labour. This plant could also be stacked up like books. Hydroponics did not require the use of soil, but only requires fertilizer, seeds and continous flow of water. Different coloured light were used, as different plant produces different quality of crop according to the best coloured light that fits them the most. The lights are also powered by solar energy, since Malaysia received large amount of sunlight every year. This practices could also be done in shopping complex ,for example, in Aeon Alpha Angle.

The pattern of planting is pattern of having always the same distance between each row and also same distance between each palm tree. This pattern ensure that the plants are always planted at right density. Planting at right density is really important to get high yield. It is because if the plants are planted too close to each other, the roots will get in each other's way and the leaves will not have enough air and sun. On the other hand, if the plants are planted too far from each other, the roots would not use all of the soil and the soil will be wasted. Thus, the yield per hectare will be low.
