I would choose or be an ERA or equity research analyst, because I have an interest in looking at stocks, and am able to spot trends quite well so I think I would be well suited to the job.
Also it seems like quite a fun thing to do.
Here is a photo that shows a job description and some key skills of an equity research manager. You need to analyze companies and make recommendations to clients as to whether they should buy or sell their stock. You would probably work at some sort of investment bank that would have many clients. You would be working with traders research analysts and sales people, and you would all be working in the markets division. This job needs specific skills e.g high analytical skills, ability to spot trends and make judgement calls. They are very important and it is a great foundation for a career in finance.
