He works in Los Angeles, where he found much inspiration. Hockney is known for his photo collages, paintings, prints, crafts, and stage designs, and is a known contributor to the Pop Art movement. The "Hockney Style" photo I created emulates his photo collage style by having an amalgamation of photos that combine to create a sort of coherent piece. 

To create the Hockey style photos, I first took about 9 photos of one subject, each with varying angles and points of focus. Once that was done, I created a custom document in Photoshop in 14x11 size. I opened each photo individually in Photoshop. Using the 'Move" tool, I moved each photo one at a time to the blank document layer, scaling the photo down as I did so. I would use the "Move" tool to adjust the position of each separate photo to where it would appear more coherent. If one layer looked better, I moved one layer over another to make things look more coherent.
