http://granterskinearchitects.com/articles-2/how-to-present.html

Kayla, Lorena, Michelle, Nicole
1. Prepare- Research your audience so you can speak their language and also form a connection with them. Read around your topic so you’re prepared for any questions that may come up. Also, knowing your topic inside and out gives you a lot more confidence.
2. Know why you are presenting- Before you start presenting, have your desired goal in mind. Know whether you want to inform, challenge, amuse or educate your audience
3.Talk TO your audience, not AT them-This will help you involve your audience through questions, which will take the pressure off you and keep them interested.
4. Before presenting, have a goal in mind in order to focus on keeping your audience engaged
5. Think of the whole situation as a friendly conversation rather than a formal presentation where all the attention is focused on you
6. Don't Be a Robot- speak with enthusiasm and no matter what you do, do not read out your presentation.
7. Slow Down- The key to a strong presentation is to relax. Start by taking a deep breath and slowing down your pace. After all, your main purpose should be to raise interest rather than to fully educate.
8. Use the grandmother test, which is pretending to have an audience of grandmothers and if they understand and are engaged then you are explaining it simply enough.
9. Practice and get comfortable presenting by presenting as much as you can. You can start with your family, small groups, or find other opportunities to use as practice.
10.Great presentations take research, planning, and practice. It is a skill that can be acquired. It helps to watch bad presenters

Link:
https://www.entrepreneur.com/article/230358
