The time that I imagine a lot of this happening is morning meeting or closing circle, but it can be quick checks throughout our day. Ask students to share and discuss, have them work together, various games and activities, teaching students about growth mindset and how they may not be able to do something now, but will be able to later. All of these things help students to feel engaged and motivated in school!

I think there are many things we are doing really well based upon what was suggested in this video and I also see some areas that we can refine. We have come so far! All kids need to get grade level or above curriculum and they will never make it to grade level if they don't. This really stuck out to me. I also think teachers are so so so bus working so hard, that sometimes it is difficult to focus on all the important conversations and reflect upon teaching practices as much as they'd like to. Overall, this was reassuring that we are on the right path!
