After a period of engagement, the Royal British Legion’s Board of Trustees has confirmed that the charity will be removing its 15 high street Pop-In Centres and reducing its office space across the UK, closing area and secondary offices and instead creating six regional hubs from which we will continue to deliver our operations.

The 6 regional hubs will be in: Belfast, Birmingham, Cardiff, Manchester, London, and Edinburgh.

The UK Veterans Family Study is exploring the experiences of spouses/intimate partners and adult children (18+ years) of UK Armed Forces Veterans and we’re recruiting participants who want to share those experiences. We want to understand the support, situations, and environments that have had an impact on your family’s mental health and well-being since leaving the military.

RAND Europe is conducting research funded by the UK Office for Veterans’ Affairs (OVA) to improve understanding of what it’s like to be a non-UK veteran (i.e. ex-UK Armed Forces personnel who did not have UK nationality when they joined the Armed Forces).

New grant scheme for veterans and their families who are struggling to pay their energy bills

The Royal British Legion, the UK's largest charity dedicated to supporting the Armed Forces community, has today launched a new grant scheme for veterans and their families who are struggling to pay their energy bills. The initiative will provide non-repayable emergency grants of up to £2,400 a year (£200 a month), and is available across the UK.
