I really enjoyed the anti-bullying workshop. It was a nice review on the one we had at the beginning of the year. I was able to connect with the first session and the last session. At the beginning of the year in the first session it was a new type of experience for me but in the review, I was able to answer most questions have an idea of what the workshop was about. I really liked the review session as it was fun and a good experience to learn about bullying and why we shouldn't bully.

In order to raise awareness on bullying a workshop was conducted for the students. Our guardian for the workshop and also the in - charge of our group’s workshop was Priyadarshini ma’am and I think she did a great job. We had a very interactive and thought provoking session. We were given a situation that is commonly faced by students of a school. We were asked to think about what goes on in the bully’s head, in the victim’s head and in the bystanders’ heads. This helped us understand the situation better and helped us understand how the victim and how the bully feels in such a situation. I can say for sure that everyone in that room reflected on what past actions they might have done harmed someone and whether they have ever been bullied. I think it is very important to address bullying and spread awareness of it, especially in schools where this happens the most. Overall it was a very useful session and I hope that we have more like this one.

Reflection on The Anti-Bullying Workshop: Pranathi 8MYP

We recently had an anti-bullying workshop that was conducted by our teachers to help us understand the importance of standing up to people who bully others. There was a simple scenario that we were given, and through this one example, we were able to grasp a very keen understanding of how a bully thinks, how a victim thinks as well as what is going on in the head of a bystander. The session was very interesting as well as interactive and Priyadarshini Ma'am has conducted it really well. It was a great way to build our understanding even more from the previous session we had at the beginning of this year. There were many takeaways after this session, and I feel that it was a very important step that was taken to educate people about bullying and why we shouldn't bully others or bring them down.

The anti-bullying workshop that was held was very informative. It gave us the opportunity to interact with our friends and teachers and brainstorm the different thoughts and feelings all the parties involved in bullying would have. We discussed the positive and negative feeling the bully, victim and bystanders would have. We also tried to place ourselves in each one of their shoes and consider how we would feel. This helped us empathize and understand the importance of stopping bullies whenever possible. Overall, this workshop was very fun and also educative. I look forward to more follow-up workshops in the future!
