         <description><![CDATA[<div>Positivism: the principle that science, including social science, should be concerned only with observable entities that are known directly to experience.&nbsp;<br><br>Mechanical solidarity: is the social integration of members of a society who have common values and beliefs.<br><br>Functionalism: is a system of thinking based on the ideas of Emile Durkheim that looks at society from a large-scale perspective. It examines the. necessary structures that make up a society and how each part helps to keep the society stable&nbsp;<br>Socialization: the process through which individuals learn the norms and values of society, leading to social cohesion and a functional society (according to functionalists).<br><br>Social facts: values, cultural norms, and social structures that transcend the individual and can exercise social control.&nbsp;<br><br>Socialization: the process through which individuals learn the norms and values of society, leading to social cohesion and a functional society (according to functionalists).</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Positivism:&nbsp;<br>‘the principle that science(including social sciences) should be concerned only with observable entities that are known directly toexperience’.<br><br>The law of 3 stage:&nbsp;<br>based on evidence drawn from observation, comparison and experimentation.<br><br>Social facts: values, cultural norms, and social structures that transcend the individual and can exercise social control.&nbsp;<br><br>Key Principles of functionalism:<br>Social structures consist of norms and values and exist independently from individuals.Society needs to be analysed as a system – we need to look at the contributions – or functions- each element in the society makes to the whole.Social institutions generally perform positive functions such as promoting social integration; facilitating social regulation; preventing anomie and in general they promote and maintain solidarity in the society.</div><div><br>Solidarity: is the social integration of members of a society who have common values and beliefs.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Positivism，only that which can be scientifically verified or which is capable of logical or mathematical proof, and therefore rejecting metaphysics and theism.For example, a machine that lacks agency can produce corresponding results as long as it has a certain cause.<br><br>The law of three stages：1.The Theological stage refers to the appeal to personified deities. 2.The Metaphysical stage is an extension of the theological stage.3.The Posivity stage, also known as the scientific stage, refers to scientific explanation based on observation, experiment, and comparison.<br><br>Key Principles of functionalism：&nbsp; Functionalism is one of the major traditions in scientific analysis and explanation. It has its main origins in biology and has been very influential in the development of the social sciences, especially sociology and anthropology, as well as psychology, geography, politics, engineering, architecture, archaeology, and management sciences.&nbsp;<br><br>Social facts：A social fact is any way of acting, whether fixed or not, capable of exerting over the individual an external constraint<br><br>Social solidarity emphasizes the interdependence of individuals in a society, allowing individuals to feel that they can improve the lives of others. It is a core principle of collective action, built on shared values and beliefs among different groups in society.</div>]]></description>
