         <description><![CDATA[<div>Leucippus and Democritus were two greek philosophers who believed that matter was composed of tiny particles that couldn't further be divided or split. They named these particles A Tomos which means indivisible. This was the first major idea that contributed to the Atomic Theory of atoms.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Eugene Goldstein simply discovered positive and negatively charged particles by using a cathode ray tube.&nbsp;<br>JJ Thompson recognized these negatively charged particles and named them electrons. He also invented the plum pudding model, explaining that electrons were randomly distributed throughout a positively charged area.<br>Some years later, Earnest Rutherford discovered the nucleus of an atom using the gold foil experiment. He also concluded from the gold foil experiment that atoms are mostly empty space.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Niels Bohr was the inventor of the Bohr Model, which is used to show electrons in their orbits surrounding a nucleus. The model was flawed, as some elements have several electrons.<br>Heisenburg fixed this by creating the quantum theory, which uses different types of orbitals(the most likely area of an electron to be found). </div>]]></description>
