         <description><![CDATA[<div>I remember my older brother (5 years older) and I both had to take some sort of IQ test when we started schooling. For the final "grade", my brother did much better than me, and my dad decided to tell us as much (I hadn't even started kindergarten yet). It caused me to hold onto beliefs that I wasn't as smart as my brother, and framed our schooling in a competitive rather than supportive manner. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I remember my parents sitting me down to discuss how I had performed on a standardized test I took as a 1st grader. I did okay so it was an easy conversation. I felt good about it. A stronger memory I have was of deciding in the 8th grade that I was a B+/A- student. I remember specifically deciding that if I was averaging around there, I had put in enough effort for school, but not more than I wanted to be.<br><br></div>]]></description>
