WHAT TO WONDER

Ask: What instruments/voices were used in the performance?

Observe the ensemble or performance set up. How is this similar or different to the setup you do in school? Do you have any idea why they chose to set up this way? 

Describe the type of music they played. Is it similar or different to the music you perform in school? Tell your music teacher about this when you return!

Opinion: Do you like this piece? Why? Were there songs or parts of the performance that you did not like? Why or why not?

Compare two other performances (live or recorded). Pay attention to small details and jot down what your performance would look like if you were the leader of a performing group. What would you like for your musicians to perform? Where would it be performed? Is there a specific reason you want this performance (benefit concert, community concert, etc.)?
