Glossary: Energy and Change

Current – The flow of electric charge in a circuit.

Conductor – A material that allows electricity to flow easily (e.g., copper wire).

Insulator – A material that does not allow electricity to pass through (e.g., plastic, rubber).

Circuit – A complete path that electricity follows.

Battery – A device that stores chemical energy and changes it into electrical energy.

Bulb – A device that changes electrical energy into light energy.

Switch – A small device used to open or close a circuit.

Fuse – A safety device that breaks a circuit if the current is too strong.

Feedback

I really enjoyed working on this task because it gave me the chance to explore Energy and Change in more detail. It was both interesting and fun, especially since I could be creative in the way I presented my work. I also appreciated that I was able to research further and discover new information, which helped me to understand the topic more deeply. Overall, this activity was engaging and encouraged me to think beyond the notes.
