We made it to Martha’s Vineyard and had a packed day. We all started on the African Heritage Trail and learned the history of how an African American community began here and how it continues to thrive today. 

We then did different activities, including paddle boarding, the beach, a visit to the alpaca farm. We finished in Oak Bluffs with dinner, and some kids went bowling, others the arcade, lawn games at the hotel, and journal writing. There was also a considerable time playing with a bunch of stretchy carrots. 

The pics are only if some of the group activities. If you’re student is missing, don’t worry. More pics will be posted. And rest assured we did not lose anyone.

Fire alarm in the middle of the night
It was just an accident
But gave everyone a fright
It wailed and flashed 
Ruining everyone’s delight
Children running to field
What a sight
We sat on the grass
And watching the flashing lights
And on that eventful night
I slept not a wink, you read that right.
