Stereotypes of poor countries: Lots of republics, lots of ongoing conflict, gold and petrol are common resources, lots of money wasted due to inefficiency, lots of infrastructure has been destroyed due to conflict, allies include United Nations, small countries.

The difference between UK and DRC is that our transport is very different, the DRC has a war going on but the UK doesn’t, the DRC is a republic and the UK is a monarchy, DRC can’t grow and resources because of the war going on and they don’t have enough time, since the Uk is a bigger well-known country they have better allies. The DRC deals with their own conflict but the UK deals with other people’s conflicts.

-       Democracy is the most popular form of political structure.

 

-       Not many major conflicts are seen, some peace keeping missions.

 

-       Rich in natural resources like iron, coal, and oil.

 

-       Good infrastructures and wisely use and distribute money to help boost the country.

 

-       Wealthy allies such as the United States were popular allies.

 

-       Republics were commonalities between the countries.

 

-       Governments being overthrown and civil wars were common throughout the countries.

 

-       Gold is a main common resource; others include uranium and oil.

 

-       Bad infrastructure with countries wasting money and a lack of basic needs like electricity and transport systems.

 

-       European countries were popular allies such as France and Britain, some didn’t have allies aligned with them and others had random assortments of countries as allies.

Political structure: monarchy, semi-presidential, PMs and Presidents, and a lot of them are a part of the UN and NATO.

Conflict: The majority have not seen conflict in their own country since the world wars but provide aid to other countries. 

Natural resources: most commonly iron ore and had good trading routes and are looking for renewable systems.

Infrastructure: The government is very involved in the progression of the infrastructure, and currently has good infrastructure. 

Allies: Lots of allies with countries with swaying power

 

Political structure: Republics and presidential systems.

Conflict: Most countries are involved in civil wars and overthrowing of governments, as well as fights for independence. 

Natural resources: Gold, coal and diamonds are most common in the poorer countries, trading routes with countries close to them.

Infrastructure: due to the wars, the infrastructure is failing and lots of money has been wasted on infrastructure due to the efficiency.

Allies: Little countries that help with resources.
